Justin M. Wigard

He is pursuing a Master’s Degree in English Language and Literature with a concentration in Children’s and Young Adult Literature. In addition to working as Managing Editor for Humanorum, Justin has recently co-authored an article with Katherine E. Whaley  in Critical Insights: The American Comic Book, entitled “Waiting for Wonder Woman: The Problematic History of Comic Book Women and Their Cinematic Doubles.”

Samantha Leigh Miller

5977_4766891857271_682568902_n (1)Samantha Miller is a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the Department of English Language and Literature. She is pursuing a Master’s Degree in English Language and Literature with a concentration in Children’s and Young Adult Literature. She has presented research at numerous conferences on the intersection of comic books and sociology, and her current literary focus involves reexamining children’s literature through Jeffrey J. Cohen’s Monster Theory.

Daniel Wyrembelski

Wyrem_HumanorumDaniel Wyrembelski is a senior originally from Macomb, Michigan. Dan is currently double majoring in Philosophy and Psychology. His academic interests include epistemology and philosophy of science. In addition to being a member of Humanorum’s editorial board, he is a proud member of Central Michigan University’s The Student Philosophers, a student organization focusing on open discussion of philosophical topics. Dan intends to continue his studies in graduate school with hopes of teaching philosophy.

Mickey Wong

MikiMickey Wong recently graduated with a BA in English/Applied Linguistics from CMU. She’s currently the Director of Social Media for a small film company and she plans to continue her education with a Master’s in Computer Science to become a computational linguist.

Gina May Logan

From her hometown of Britton, Michigan, she volunteers for Humanorum as a copy editor, and writes short stories in her spare time. She has two older sisters and two pets, Lucky (cat) and Baretta (horse).
