Humanorum : Call for Papers

Call for Papers – Ongoing

Humanorum: The Central Michigan University Journal on Society is an undergraduate double blind-reviewed academic journal sponsored by the College of Humanities and Social and Behavioral Sciences.

We are announcing the Call for Papers for our upcoming publication, to be distributed in Spring 2016. This is an opportunity for undergraduate students from all departments within the CHSBS to submit academic essays for publication. For submission examples, please look to our first volume, which can be found online at humanorumjournal.org

  • Submissions should be between 8-20 pages (double spaced, 12pt Times New Roman).
  • All submissions must be research papers, theoretical papers, or research-based essays; please consider our current issue as an example of submissions.
  • Include your name, year of study, and major in the email body. Do not include author information on the individual pages of the submitted paper.
  • You may submit a paper that is being considered by other journals, but if it should be accepted for publication elsewhere, you must notify Humanorum immediately.
  • If selected by Humanorum, all submissions to other journals must be withdrawn.
  • We will give special consideration to essays that are CHSBS Undergraduate Student Paper Prize Winners.
  • You must be a registered undergraduate at Central Michigan University at the time of submission.
  • Authors may submit up to three papers; however, only one submission per author will be accepted.
  • Email cover letter, abstract, and submission to humanorum@cmich.edu
  • Submission will close March 6 at 11:59 pm.

Any further questions, comments, or concerns may be emailed to humanorum@cmich.edu.
